Pastel Workshop Series
A series of 1-day and d-Day Workshops in pastel painting with well-known artist Thaleia Georgiades. These short and affordable workshops are designed for all levels of painting experience.
Thaleia is skilled in assessing where each student is in their artistic journey and helping him/her move to the next level, through personal attention. Each student will be working on individual subjects of his/her choosing and all will share and learn through valuable group critiques of everyone’s work. Although the class demonstrations will be done in pastel, other mediums such as oil and acrylic are welcome. The principals taught in these workshops apply to all forms of painting. Please let Thaleia know in advance (at Thaleia@directcon.net) if you will be working in an alternative medium so she can be prepared to assist you. Students should bring several photographs of subjects they are interested in working with. Bringing a lunch and snacks is encouraged so you have more time to spend at your easel.
